Lineage

The EV Manifold system was released in 1987. It excels in performance, output and clarity, and is still loved by famous bands worldwide. For a long time it was the preferred option of many of the top touring rock and metal bands.
Costa Sound runs the EV Manifold platform across its club and festival systems.

Mitchell Watterson.
Mitch's journey through the nightlife industry is nothing short of impressive. With a background in contemporary sound design, he has been deeply involved in shaping audio experiences from a young age. His experience spans event lighting and sound design, DJing and event organisation, and his proficiency in designing and configuring advanced sound systems is particularly notable.
He is considered a second-generation pioneer in auditory experience, following his father's footsteps and building on the innovations of earlier generations to push the boundaries of what is possible.

As co-founder of the highly successful Newcastle event Higher Ground, Mitch has honed his skills in orchestrating production and delivering memorable experiences.
The 10,000 ambition
His ultimate ambition, to create a sound system capable of thrilling a festival crowd of 10,000, reflects his drive to elevate the auditory experience to new heights.
Teaching the next generation
Mitch teaches in primary schools and offers DJ lessons, sharing his expertise and connections to help aspiring entertainers build careers in the industry.
